Who is 317 Charcuterie?

Emily Miller, the founder and owner, started 317 Charcuterie in July of 2021. Her love of and experience with charcuterie, her 13 years in the food service industry, and her longtime desire to start her own business all combined to create 317 Charcuterie. 

Emily is originally from Fort Wayne but moved to Indy to go to Butler University (Go Dawgs!). She studied Psychology and Italian. When she was fortunate enough to be able to study abroad in Italy she fell in love with the culture, a huge part being their food. "The emphasis that Italians place on food and mealtimes to bring people together is quite the experience. The community, love, and laughter that is created at a 3-hour long dinner is something she will not forget. This experience has always been a large inspiration in the business plans I started dreaming up years ago." -Emily M.

What brings people together better than charcuterie?! We love seeing how people naturally gather around a board and it becomes a centerpiece for discussion and community. It is truly a way to disconnect with our busy lives for a few moments and connect with the people around us.

We are very excited to be in Carmel, Indiana and to have the opportunity to serve both Carmel and the Indy areas! We seek to bring you high quality, beautiful boards + graze tables, as well as top notch customer service. As a small business, we are also invested in seeking out ways to support our fellow small, local business owners in the Indy community.
